Sharmin Segal has been facing criticism for her performance in Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar. Segal, who is also Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s niece, played the role of Alamzeb in the web show.

As an audience who spent their 8 hours to watch this series, and felt disappointed and annoyed by her Sharmins performance, we do have the right to say that her acting is not good and it didn't connect with us. If she was really good, then everyone would have praised her. The audience is not dumb! We have praised all the good performances like Aditi, Manisha, Richha and even the smaller characters, etc. We have nothing personal with Sharmin. Her performance was actually a pain to watch and even her interviews.
I watched it next day of release, till then no trolls or anything was their....my firsr reaction was...i was who is she, she's not doing anything...the point ahe was main lead...so much screen time....thats why...i was actually bored and irritated with acting. No eyes movement...its like she's living in head only. That was my honest reaction, when i watched sawariya...reaction was same.

As an audience, i’m not disappointed with Sharmin’s performance. It’s called having an opinion.
Now criticizing sharmin segal is turning into troll,and people are simply typing anything without thinking anything about somebody mental health.
as an audience we have a right to hold an opinion about the artist’s performance.. its not called trolling. Plus we haven’t put ourselves in front of the public and claim to be actors.. why should we put ourselves in the actor’s shoes, if sharmin accepted the job to be an actor, she should learn to accept criticism and praise.. this is what all celebrities have to face.. she should not be an exception.. plus she is a very bad actress…hope never to see her perform again🤮

People are watching your series and spending their money. You beg to the audience to watch your series/movies. Now you are saying that you don't mind the opinion of the people. What kind of hypocrisy is this? If the people boycott Bollywood web series for stupid acting skills of actors like Sharmeen will you still have this attitude? No other actor in Heeramandi is criticised by the audience like Sharmeen. Every audience is a critic because you are making movies/series and acting for all. You have no selected audience. Don't forget that people watch and spend their money that is why you are earning money. Every Tom Dick and Harry can not do acting.

I love heeramandi Jayati even ur performance, shruti sharma's performance , the character named satto her performance r incredible, and or baki joh famous log the unke bare ma kya hi kehna but the problem we can't able to connect alamzeb as an audience, her screens r boaring where as she was a main leas character of this series , she portrays the pure and positive heroine lead so the impact is very low or impactless i would say,

The profession of acting , theatre where the performance is viewed by the audience not for free rather from their own hard earned money and if they feel the performance watched wasn’t worth the money, then it’s completely justified to criticise acting. The story of heeramandi is already very fast and we expected more affords from shermin maam as a lead, she hasn't any impact on the entire series as a main heroine lead and thats the main problem, that character gone more complexive or psychological some times, humko understand karna par rha hai khudse unki feelings unki expression, voh khudse feel nhi karwa pa rhin, yeh chiz toh sahi nhi hai jaha savi k performance itni aa6i thi

The audience is mostly appreciative of almost all the actors but sharmin sehgal is getting highly criticised. If the audience is wrong in criticizing sharmin then they are wrong in appreciating you and your co actors as well. That means our judgement about you is wrong as well . Yes we need to spend money to watch it..!! But we can’t comment on there way of doing things..!! All they want to say is we do what we want to do..!! Just shut up and listen and watch if you want..!! If I’m a consumer of anything then we have all the right to criticize are comment are disagree with your work..!! So don’t expect us to spend money and have no right to express our voice..!!
